Hello beauties!! 😀 Guess what came in the mail yesterday?! That’s right. My June Birchbox. So exciting. This month in the box I got two extras; a lifestyle extra and a giveaway extra. Which was just a code I entered onto the website and got a 20% coupon. Pretty awesome if you ask me. If you don’t know what Birchbox is, it is a monthly beauty subscription box where you get 5 samples of different products. Sometimes, like this month, they give you something extra in your box and that could be anything they choose. And they usually give hints within the app as to if they are giving away anything extra in the box. Oh, by the way, the box is only $10 per month to try a bunch of different brands and products. If you are wondering just what samples I got in this month’s box, just keep scrolling.
P.S. If you are interested in subscribing to Birchbox, I will link it here.
This month’s box is a very pretty purple and yellow ombre. The theme of this box is, Say Yes! On the front of the box it says”Adventure Is A State Of Mind” which goes along with the theme.
The first sample is the Marcelle Waterproof Eyeliner in the shade Indigo. This reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils because it does not budge once it sets. The full size of this is $11 and you can find it here.
The second sample is the Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen with SPF 50. This sunscreen smells a lot better and absorbs a lot better than the regular sunscreen. The SPF is pretty high so it would be hard to get a sunburn. The full size of this is $19-$48 depending on the size you get and you can find it here.
The third sample is the Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow. It is a little too dark for me, but it does have a really pretty glow that comes from it. The full size is $27 and you can find it here.
The fourth sample is the Joie Folle de Joie Perfume. It has a really citrus yet woodsy scent that also has a little bit of a powdery fragrance to it as well. I really suck at describing scents, but trust me, I accidentally got this all over my shirt, but it smelt so good that I kept the same shirt on. The full size is $98 and you can find it here.
The fifth sample is the Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel. It is really cool and kind of peaked my interest in peels. You just spread a thin layer all over your face and massage your face for about 3 minutes and then all they dead skin will ball up and just fall off your face. It made my face feel really soft and didn’t have a gross smell so I do like it. The full size is $48 and you can find it here.
The last thing that was in my box, the extra this month, is the Sarahpotempa Darby Clip. It is basically the type of hair clips you use to clip up your hair when you are heat styling it. It has a very cute pattern and works quite well. The full pack of the clips is $10-$16 depending on how many you want and you can find it here.
What do you guys think of this month’s box? I thought it was a great box and I really liked how they did the giveaway prize code in the box to see what you won. I can’t wait to put all these products to the full test and hopefully use my 20% coupon in the shop soon! As always have a great rest of your day and be sure to comment your thoughts! 🙂
