Hello beauties!! ❤ Today’s post is going to be on yet another eyeshadow palette (I may have a problem) that I have been playing with these past few weeks. It is the Coastal Scents Revealed2 palette! There has been a lot of hype over the Urban Decay Naked3 palette this past year and I have been wanting to try it, but I have never really played with rose tones before so I was dying to get my hands on this palette. It has a gorgeous range of colors and great pigmentation. I think the eyeshadow formula is awesome for the price!
P.S. All swatches are done without a primer.
Price: $20 at Coastal Scents Website, find here. It is also on Amazon, so if you have an account you can order it there too. The price makes it hard to say no. 🙂
Packaging: The palette doesn’t have a mirror and is a stiff, smooth cardboard with magnetic closure.
Overall Shadow Texture: Overall is is great, no chalky at all. But there are a couple of shades in this palette that are chunky and chalky.
Review: I love these shadows! They don’t last as long as some of my high end eyeshadow palettes, they wear off by the end of the day, but still awesome! They are super buttery and blend like a dream! Also, I love the rose tones and the matte taupe shades. My favorite shade is the bright raspberry shade in the bottom row because I think it is a fun pop of color without being too harsh and in your face. But it is a must to put on a eyeshadow primer before or else they will not last long at all.
Swatches: The shadows don’t have names so I just mentioned the top or bottom row and left to right. I also included a small picture of one of the last shades too really catch all the sparkle it had in it.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post!! It was a quick post mostly to show some swatches of an eyeshadow palette I have been using lately. I will be doing a makeup look using this palette within the next couple of posts so stay tuned for that! As always, thank you guys for reading my post and be sure to come back this Monday for a new one! 🙂
