Hello!! πŸ™‚ Today I am going to show you how I depot my eyeshadows using only floss and some tweezers. I usually just depot the rectangle or square shaped pans with the floss because it works better, so that is what I am going to show you today! I am depotting some of my favorite drugstore eyeshadows, the Physicians Formula Matte Collection Quad in Classic Nude. Alrighty, lets get on to the depotting!

Things You Will Need:

-dental floss (any kind will work)

-some thin tweezers (mine are from Walmart)

-something to keep your eyeshadows in after you depot them (I suggest Z-Palettes)

items needed

Step 1: Get about 6-8 inches of flossstep 1

Step 2: Find a corner where your eyeshadow isn’t as close to the plastic.

step 2

Step 3: Use your thin tweezers to put the floss down into the cracks around the eyeshadow and plastic. You have to be patient when doing this or else it may take longer than it should.

step 3

Step 4: Once the floss is securely in the cracks of at least two corners, gently pull and wiggle the floss around the edges so that it separates the glue from the eyeshadow pan.

step 4

Step 5: Once you have wiggled the floss from the two corners you started in the the opposite two corners, your eyeshadow should pop out of the compact.

step 5

Step 6: Try not to drop it in the transfer from the compact to Z-Palette. I did that with 3 of the 4 eyeshadows and got eyeshadow everywhere. It was pretty upsetting. So try to avoid that as much as possible.

step 6

Step 7: Repeat this step for as many eyeshadows as you have.

Step 8: Enjoy having all of your favorite eyeshadows in one palette!

step 8
